Classic Rides Partners with London Motorcycle Film Festival to Celebrate the Art and Elegance of Motorcycling
London, UK - 16 August 2025 - The London Motorcycle Film Festival is proud to announce the support of Classic Rides, the UK-based motorcycle media brand created by photographer, digital artist, and lifelong rider Matt McFadden.
Born from Matt’s passion for both photography and motorcycling, Classic Rides began as a personal project - short, cinematic films documenting some of the UK’s most iconic motorcycling roads. “Initially it was just for me,” Matt explains. “So that one day, when I’m too old to ride, I’d have those videos to remember my adventuring days.”
What started as a personal archive soon resonated with riders around the world. The Classic Rides YouTube channel and Instagram feed now draw thousands of engaged followers, captivated by the way Matt captures the elegant, unhurried side of motorcycling. His films are not about speed or spectacle, but about the sensation of being back in the saddle - the wind, the sound, and the connection to the road.
“Turns out other people enjoyed watching the videos too, so I decided to make more,” says Matt. “My aim has always been to create short immersions into the ride - pieces that transport you to the road, wherever you are.”
The collaboration with the London Motorcycle Film Festival is a natural fit. Both share a commitment to showcasing the artistry, culture and community that define motorcycling beyond the bikes themselves.
Festival Director Ian Carless said: “Matt’s work embodies everything we love about the motorcycle film world - it’s authentic, beautifully shot and deeply connected to the culture. Classic Rides doesn’t just show bikes on the road; it invites you into the experience. We’re thrilled to have Matt and Classic Rides as part of this year’s festival.”
In addition to his films, Matt operates the Classic Rides online shop, offering motorcycle-inspired merchandise. All proceeds go directly back into producing new content, funding the time and equipment needed to keep the rides rolling.
